Musashi in a Kishimoto style

Description

This is Miyamoto Musashi, in a Naruto style, who is drawn by Masashi Kishimoto...
We can consider this an O.C., since I invented his story in Naruto:

As children, Musashi, Mifune and a boy named Kojiro had the same sensei: Itto Ittosai
Musashi had a rivalry with both his teammates, especially with Mifune, since he considered Kojiro more like a brother...

One day, a brigade of seventy men called the Yoshioka, came in the Land Of Iron... Kojiro, being the only person in the whereabouts that could defend the region, gave his life to save it, and managed to reduce their numbers down to seventy... Musashi, having heard about this, went to confront them to avenge his best friend... After having killed 69 of them, he fought in a final battle Seijuro, the young chief of the brigade, and who left a scar on Musashi's forehead, before dying... Mifune had come just in time, to see Musashi win his duel... then Musashi turned around and with a smile which was familiar on Kojiro's face, siad he had won...

Years later, he and Mifune duelled for the title of Supreme General, and when he finally beat Mifune, he surrendered at the last moment, on condition, that he, like Kojiro a long time ago, would be the Sentry of the Land Of Iron, second only to Mifune himself...

I hope you enjoy this, and tell me what you think about it....

This is a very interesting-looking character; you've clearly given his design and story some thought. It's nice to see a character who doesn't seem to have any particular relation to an existing character, and who looks to be a mature adult.

The use of hatching for shade is very like that of Kishimoto, although if you are able to get the lines a bit neater (like it is under the neck rather than under his arms) it will look nicer and more professional. If you would like to make the style more like Kishi's, then I would suggest trying to find out just how many of the lines in his clothing are needed to indicate the folds; Kishimoto has very clean, simplistic outlines, mixed with detail-lines for shading and scratches (as you have used here). The picture to the right has fewer lines, but the way the clothes fall and the belt ties it up are indicated.

I think that the anatomy is basically good - as I mentioned before, he looks like a mature adult. I think his upper right arm could be a little thicker, as the part with the armour looks too bulky in comparison. Also, it is unclear what his left arm is doing.

I think that you have managed to make an interesting character in Kishimoto's style. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sโ€ฆ" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> I'm sure that you can only improve from this. Keep up the good work!

Et j'รฉcrirais cette critique en francais pour toi, mais je ne parle pas francais couramment!
